Bring the family for a Teddy Bears Picket

Calling all CUPE members!

CUPE Local 4948, representing Toronto Public Library workers, have been leading the fight against precarious work in the city.

Our CUPE sisters and brothers are at a critical stage in bargaining with the library board, with a strike/lockout deadline of 12:01 am this Monday. It could go either way in the next few days, and they need your help!

Bring the family and join CUPE Ontario Secretary-Treasurer Candace Rennick this Saturday at a Teddy Bears Picket in support of Toronto Public Library Workers!

There will be music, readings by children’s authors, face painting and other kid’s activities, as well as special appearances by prominent library supporters.

It is very important for CUPE 4948 to have a strong show of support at this crucial time. We are asking all members to come out to and join the fun this Saturday.

See you there!
