The public consultation process to close a Mississauga high school is nearing its end.
The final staff report for a Pupil Accommodation Review (PAR) that calls for Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School to close by June 2018 was presented to Peel District School Board trustees for receipt Monday, Dec. 12.
The PAR, spurred by declining enrolment, also includes Glenforest, Lorne Park, The Woodlands and T.L. Kennedy secondary schools. The process began last April.
The final report’s recommendation would cut 1,125 empty pupil places.
