The closing of Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School is no longer a possibility – it’s a reality.
Peel District School Board trustees voted in favour of closing the high school at the Tuesday, Jan. 24 regular board meeting.
The closure is tied to the approval of a final staff report for a Pupil Accommodation Review (PAR) in south Mississauga.
Glenforest, Lorne Park, The Woodlands and T.L. Kennedy secondary schools were also involved in the public consultation process.
Chair Janet McDougald said Graydon will be leaving behind an “incredible legacy” in the community when it closes in June 2018.
