The provincial government has kicked Northern Ontario around too much, about 250 people attending a rally at North Bay City Hall were told Saturday.
Protesters chanting “This is what democracy looks like” marched from the former Ontario Northland headquarters on Oak Street to city hall to protest the way the provincial government is treating Northern Ontario and North Bay in particular.
“The Premier of Ontario represents the entire province. The entire province includes the North. It includes North Bay,” Chris Buckley, the newly elected president of the Ontario Federation of Labour said.
