Last week, the OFL launched our “Make It Fair” campaign for labour law reform and we need you to pledge your full support for the campaign.
Ontario’s labour laws haven’t been updated in over 20 years. Meanwhile changes in the labour market are trapping Ontario workers in precarious part-time, temporary, contract and subcontracted jobs, as employers in every sector drive down wages and working conditions.
But we have the power to change the law!
The Ontario government is currently reviewing the province’s employment laws. That means we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to bring in sweeping changes to make it easier to join a union, lift every worker out of poverty and create the Ontario We Want!
Here is how you can help …
We have set up “Local Organizing Hubs across the province to bring together local labour activists from every union in your area to take action in targeted provincial electoral ridings.
You can also find events in your region, like the ones happening next week to call on the Wynne Government to increase the minimum wage to $15, lift employment standards for every worker and make it easier to join a union.
We will be participating in rallies and actions across the province as part of the $15 and Fairness Day of Action. Find the closest event in the list below and sign up to take action!

Thanks for your support and I look forward to seeing you online and on-the-streets, as we fight together to change labour laws to Make It Fair for every worker.
