Wynne dogged by fallout from changes to Ontario Autism Program

Parents upset with changes to the Ontario Autism Program continued to dog Premier Kathleen Wynne as she crisscrossed the Great Toronto Area (GTA) this week to highlight her Liberal government’s economic plan.

When Wynne arrived at the Mississauga Convention Centre April 25 for her keynote address at a Mississauga Board of Trade luncheon, a handful of parents were outside waving signs blasting the premier for cutting off their children’s government-assisted access to autism therapy.

The Ontario Autism Coalition organized the demonstration.
